Lincoln, Neb. Emily Powers fired a 2-under-par 70 in the morning and an even-par 72 in the afternoon and is tied for second place individually, while leading the Kansas women’s golf team to a fourth-place team standing after day one of the Chip-N Club Invitational Monday.
Powers enters today’s final round just one shot behind Amy Anderson of North Dakota State.
