KU volleyball lets match slip away late

KU volleyball had a chance to tie this weekend's match with Missouri at two games apiece. Instead the Jayhawks were victims of Missouri's mini run of four straight points and fell to 11-9 on the season.

Despite a season-high 14 kills from senior Brittany Williams and a double-double from sophomore Nicole Tate, the Kansas University volleyball team dropped a four-set decision to rival Missouri on Saturday at the Horejsi Center.

The Jayhawks won the first set 25-22 but lost 25-21, 25-17 and 26-24 in the final three sets.

KU need to go in another direction. MU just clobbered them again and they are not competitive in the Big XII at all!
