This post is kind of funny, and maybe Tom will laugh at this.

But go back, and look at all the flaming hate posts on his votes. And now that KU is firmly and undeniably not a top 25 team, there hasn't been a single post.

I mean, am I the only person that is having a chuckle about how much #@$% we give to Tom?

Keep in mind Kstate is 3-1 in conference right now, they've played one more in conference game than most of us. So here's the deal:

TT is as mad as we are right now (they got blown out by Texas A&M). However I believe we are much madder -- we can play much better & we'll be ready. If we take care of those guys next week, we'll be 2-2 in conference, essentially one game behind KSU.

Once we meet KSU, if we win, we'd have the same record, and hold the tiebreaker. They'll lose a couple more at least before all's said & done. Similar to the tough task we have at Texas (now let's not go crazy if we lose, lets just hope we play our best that's all we can ask of our guys).

My point is, it might look like KSU is way ahead of everyone in the North right now -- but it's an illusion, they've played an extra game & we still get our head to head matchup (which we must attack).

The point? If we do our best, we still control our destiny to the Big 12 championship game.

KU has always conntrolled their own destiny. Who the heck got beat the last two weeekends? KU just has to go unbeaten to make the Big XII Title game. Yea, and beat UT twice in a row! Yea, KU controls their own fate, THey have to earn it on the field each and every game.

This is a tall order especially without Sharp and a "dull" Reesing, but stranger things have happened!

GO HAWKS!

Did Keegan watch Alabama win by 2 points to Tennessee with two blocked field goals, and Texas whip the crap out of Mizzou at Mizzou? Don't blame Texas because the Big 12 north is bad. Alabama isn't as good as #2.

Plus I would rank the Iowa Hawkeyes higher then that Tom. They are undefeated and won at MSU, which has been a tough place to play.

Texas' blow out of Mizzou at Columbia is so much better than the lame football Bama showed this weekend, and is much better than Florida has been showing. I don't think Florida could have fared better against OU's D than our offense did this weekend. Texas at #3 is rediculous. I think Tom doesn't want to declare either Bama or Florida #3 because they play head-to-head later on and one of them will drop. He doesn't know which one. This is the safe vote.
