Anybody know of any KU pre-game bars in Boulder Saturday?

Do we need to bring our own goalposts? I don't see any in the Folsom Field photo!

Tough to find a Kansas bar in Boulder, but there are a couple places you'll find fans. Harpos on Arapahoe at 29th Street will have some Hawks, and it's pretty close to the stadium. If you don't mind walking a little farther, definitely hit The Dark Horse. I would love to see The Dark Horse full of KU fans. That's a truly unique place with some pretty good chow.

But if you want to get serious, park the car at Choppers in Denver and take the bus to Boulder. On Kansas game days, Choppers is a serious KU bar. It's a big place that will be absolutely overflowing with KU fans. I was there for the Iowa State comeback last year and in the second half the place was shaking. http://chopperssportsgrill.com/index.php

We're going there for Bloodies but we'll be at Folsom in plenty of time to enjoy the tailgating. Don't forget those KU jackets, cuz once the sun disappears out here the temp drops like a stone. Saturday is gonna be beautiful and 68 degrees, which will feel like 80 when you're in the sun. But by kickoff it's gonna be more like 50s. And by half time probably 40s. And we can't be having people running back to the car during the game now.

I'm so excited to finally see some live KU football. I've rented a 15 passenger van to lead a caravan of Jayhawks for the "unofficial" alumni tailgate at the Harvest House. Feel free to join us if you don't want to spend the $20. We'll be the ones wearing blue!
