Columbia, Mo. Emily Powers shot a 231 to place 24th individually, and the Kansas University women’s golf team placed 10th Tuesday at the Johnie Imes Invitational.
KU shot 935 over three rounds, a stroke out of ninth place. Wisconsin won the team title with 908 strokes. Tulsa was second with 912 and host Missouri third at 913.
KU’s Meghan Gockel and Grace Thiry tied for 38th at 235, Meghna Bal tied for 45th at 237, and Jennifer Clark tied for 67th at 244.
KU will travel to Las Cruses, N.M., for the Give ’Em Five Invitational, which runs Monday through Wednesday.
