KU football moves up in both polls

Even after a bye week, the Kansas football team moved up two spots in the Associated Press poll and one spot in the USA Today coaches poll this week.

The Jayhawks are now ranked 15th in the coaches poll and 16th in the AP ranking.

KU (4-0) is one of 13 undefeated teams left in Division I.

Other Big 12 teams in the rankings are: Texas (No. 2 AP, No. 2 coaches), Oklahoma State (15, 13), Oklahoma (19, 21), Nebraska (21, 22) and Missouri (24, 18).

KU football moves up in both polls

Following a 34-7 victory over UTEP on Saturday, the Kansas football team moved up in both national rankings.

The Jayhawks jumped two spots to 22nd in the Associated Press poll; KU moved up a single spot in the USA Today Coaches poll, checking in at No. 23.

The KU football team has now been ranked in 22 of the last 30 AP polls.

Texas (No. 2 AP, No 2 coaches), Oklahoma (12, 12), Oklahoma State (16, 17), Nebraska (19, 18) and Missouri (NR, 25) were the other Big 12 schools that earned national rankings in at least one poll.
