Not only do we move up on a BYE week, we are now the third highest ranked team in the Big XII! Nice.

You know.. if we beat Iowa St. and Colorado, we're going to be ranked higher than OU when we play them.

Too bad the luster will be taken off of our win over OU!!!

After Texas beats them, they'll have 3 losses when they come to Lawrence and may not even be ranked.

I thought we'd beat them even when they were in the top 10. We need a win over one of the big boys, and this will be the one!

How we play in Boulder will tell the tale of whether or not we will be able to match Oklahoma's skill and talent. Oklahoma plays very physical football and we are going to have to be just as physical to have a chance to win. However, Kansas usually plays well against Oklahoma and Oklahoma fans and coaches know this. They are always nervous when the sooners roll into Lawrence for a game.

OU is the first team since Florida in 2003 to be ranked in the top 25 with a 2-2 record (Florida was 25th). Clearly they are getting a bit of a break from the press due to losing Bradford and the fact that their 2 loses are versus ranked opponents. Either way, I just don't think they will beat Texas, even with Bradford back. They're just not as good this year.

So, that means we have a solid chance at 6-0 (knock on wood) and probably being close to the top 10 when we go against what could be an unranked OU team stuck at .500 (3-3 after beating Baylor and losing to Texas).

Now THAT would be weird.......

Just think...with eight more bye weeks we could be number one.

Let's not forget how ISU almost pulled off an upset last year when they played us. I say we stomp them in the ground for making us break a sweat last year...and because it's homecoming. lol
