Kansas University’s baseball game against Northwestern Saturday night was postponed in the bottom of the third inning because of inclement weather in the area.

The game is scheduled to resume today at Hoglund Ballpark at 10:30 a.m. as part of a doubleheader on the final day of the four-game series. Game Two will follow 30 minutes after the completion of Game One.

Kansas was leading in the third, 2-1, with runners on first and second base and nobody out when a bolt of lightning in the distance forced suspension of play.
