The Kansas University women’s tennis team swept UMKC, 7-0, at First Serve Tennis on Sunday.
With the victory, Kansas improved to 5-3, while UMKC dropped to 0-6.
KU’s Edina Horvath won her first match at the No. 1 position this season, 6-1, 7-5.
In doubles, the new pairing of Horvath and Ekaterina Morozova made quick work of UMKC’s Chelsea Horner and Emily Lindsay, 8-0.
