Columbia, Mo. Kansas University’s swimming and diving team finished in fourth place with 493 points at the 2009 Big Championships at the Mizzou Aquatics Center on Saturday.
Texas finished in first place with 893 points.
Texas A&M placed second with 831 points.
Sophomore Iuliia Kuzhil led a group of Jayhawks in the 200 yard backstroke, finishing eighth in 1:58.42. Freshman Abigail Anderson and junior Carrah Haley finished 10th and 11th, respectively, while junior Mel Heyrman came in 16th.
Maria Mayrovich made a strong showing in the 100 yard freestyle, coming in third with a time of 48.77

ight have been nice to give the KU point total or even better the point totals of all the schools involved (6). It takes so little effort to make a better story..
Thisis note even a story it is a partial result and pitiful.
Hope they have enough sense to complete the sotry!
