Prep standout Stephenson visits Cincinnati

New York high school basketball standout Lance Stephenson is on a recruiting trip to the University of Cincinnati this weekend, Zagsblog.net reports.

The 6-foot-5 Stephenson has been looking for a college home since Kansas University landed a commitment from Xavier Henry and stopped recruiting the shooting guard/small forward.

Memphis and Arizona still may be involved in the recruitment of Stephenson, who according to Zagsblog.net is due in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Monday to face sexual-assault charges. He is alleged to have groped a female outside Brooklyn’s Lincoln High last fall.

His attorneys have said Stephenson is innocent.

Groping. What a strange way to pass the time. How does one grope anyway? And when does one decide, "I think I'll grope her". I don't think I've ever witnessed a grope of someone who didn't want to be groped. That's got to be awkward. What a tool.

I personally know of some former KU basketball players (shall remain nameless) that would grope women and when they would get upset they would even poor beer on them. I can't even tell you how many times a football players of that time came close to getting into a fight with the basketball players because of this behavior. It isn't only basketball players either, I had issues with several football players (shall remain nameless) that thought they were entitled as well. Trust me, it happens a lot more than is reported by the media and more often than not it is not reported to authorities. Sometimes these guys need a punch in face for them realize that they are not entitled and that not everyone worships them. However, I don't condone the violence...I met it more figuratively.
