Kansas University sophomore Tony Thompson was honored with three more awards this week, including selection to two All-America teams.

The Kansas third baseman was named a third-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) on Wednesday, while on Thursday he garnered first-team All-Central Region honors by the American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA) as well as second-team All-America recognition by Ping! Baseball.

These awards continue a busy off-season for Thompson, the likely winner of the Big 12 Triple Crown. He had previously been named first-team All-Big 12, as well as a third-team All-American by Louisville Slugger.
