Kansas wide receiver Dezmon Briscoe and safety Darrell Stuckey were both named to the media's preseason All-Big 12 team Friday.

Briscoe had 92 catches for 1,407 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore last season. Stuckey, meanwhile, led the Jayhawks last year with five interceptions and was second on the team with 98 tackles.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford was named the preseason offensive player of the year, while Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was selected as the preseason defensive player of the year.

Baylor defensive tackle Phil Taylor was picked as the preseason newcomer of the year.

KU and NU led the Big 12 North schools with two selections each on the preseason All-Big 12 team. Missouri linebacker Sean Witherspoon was the only other Big 12 North player to be selected on the 26-person All-Big 12 roster.

The full preseason All-Big 12 team is below.

The Big 12 may be the QB conference, but Tebow is the NCAA's Zeus.

Seriously, did anyone catch how big of an issue they've been making of the SEC preseason vote? One coach doesn't vote for Tim and everyone's up in arms about what a travesty it is he didn't get unanimous selection.

I'm rooting for two teams this year...KU and whoever lines up against Florida.

Whitechocolate you are SPOT on. The media has made me despise Tebow. I have nothing against him personally, but they are shoving him down our throats!!

Despise the media, not Tebow. It is encouraging to see athletes with character instead criminals. It is also part of the reason I am proud of the 'Hawks.

I agree dagger. I don't always buy everything I hear about "good" character either. A lot of pro athletes that make hefty donations are only doing so to make themselves more marketable.

Tim Tebow claims to be a virgin. Any guesses what the over and under is for Div. One football virgins?

Wasn't Mangino going on a diet to lose fifty pounds last year? it looks like he found them!!

Season record estimates:

14-0 Only with Divine Intervention
13-1 Ditto
12-2 Gotta win in the State of Texas....tough, tough, tough
11-3 Getting warmer {If we win the North}
10-3 If we don't win the North
9-4 We lost a "trap" game or blew a Bowl
8-5 A disappointment
7-6 a really big disappointment
Anything below that...we won't even acknowledge!!

Should win - n.co,/ t-ep./ Duke/S.Miss./isu/ col/ksu/mo/ Bowl Opponent
Challenged to win - Tex.Tech/Neb
Really Hard to Win - OK
Really, really, really hard to win - Tex/ Big !2 Champ.

If you think Tebow is a virgin (which he claims to be), google "Tim Tebow girlfriend".
