2008 Insight Bowl
KU will face the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the 2008 Insight Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.
It was over when …
A 30-plus yard catch by Minnesota tight end Nick Tow-Arnett was called back due to an illegal-formation penalty early in the fourth quarter. The Gophers had cut their deficit to 35-21 and looked to be moving the ball well. They were forced to punt five plays later.
Unsung hero
The Kansas defensive line. After allowing 45 rushing yards in the first quarter, the defensive line tightened up to allow just 35 yards the rest of the way and change the course of the game.
Stat of the game: 14
Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing completed a school-record 14 consecutive passes.

Hey, Doogie. Gotta hurt to realize your tiggers - in their season to end all seasons - was inferior to the Hawks in a "down year."
