For the first time since 2006, the Kansas softball team is ranked in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll, coming in at No. 25 on Tuesday. The Jayhawks defeated two ranked opponents during their season-opening weekend in the Kajikawa Classic.
The Jayhawks, who received votes in the preseason top-25 poll, defeated then-No. 7 Arizona and then-No. 11 Northwestern last weekend.
Kansas is back in action this weekend in the UCF Invite in Orlando, Fla.

good job but you would think that when an unranked team beats teams ranked no's 7 and 11, then they deserve to be ranked higher than 25, either way they are and congrats.
