Is this Misery's first week in the poll? Time to make that short lived!

lance1jhawk 12 years, 9 months ago

Seriously, WHO keeps giving North Carolina first place votes?

TreHawks 12 years, 9 months ago

UCLA is sooooooooooo over-rated.I loathe the PAC-10.

RckChalkJeff 12 years, 9 months ago

Pittsburgh deserves the first place votes before the Tarholes

Jonathan Andrews 12 years, 9 months ago

Look at the difference in our votes and MU's in the AP poll.

KU = 3 Seed latest bracketology...out in the West though.

lance1jhawk 12 years, 9 months ago

I would take a 3 seed. The POD system would have us playing in the Sprint Center for the first two rounds. Well... maybe thats not a good thing

Last time we played a ranked Mizzou team was Feb. 3rd, 2003 in Allen. They were 22nd at the time and we won 76-70 (also on 1/28/02, they were 24th, we won then 105-73 in Allen). Won both that year...but they beat us in the B12 tournament. Last time we lost to them was January 16th, 2006, in Columbia, by 3. So we have a 5 game win streak against them going into tonight.I just hope that the twins, Little, and Taylor are up for it. I know Collins, Cole, and Brady should be fine.

Eurekahwk 12 years, 9 months ago

I believe Little is the kind of guy you don't want to taunt too much. He might drop a quiet 30 on you. Remember, he models his game after the great one.

Adam Evans 12 years, 9 months ago

Very true. I see Taylor kind of collapsing tonight with his first Antler experience, and I see Little stepping up and shining. Remember what happened when he was called "Soft"?

I was wondering when the voters were going to take notice of us, it sure took long enough. We're not under the radar anymore, that's for sure. A 3-seed in Bracketology is a compliment by someone who is paying attention and knows the polls are lagging by a week.

I remember that last loss at Mizzou, because Moody missed some free throws (shock). I guess you have to accept that from a guy who was so talented in all the other aspects of his game.
