Champaign, Ill — Kansas University’s tennis team suffered its first setback of the season on Friday, and it was a doozy — a 7-0 shutout at 36th-ranked Illinois.

Three KU singles players took matches to three sets, but UI prevailed. Kansas fell to 3-1, while Illinois improved to 4-1.
