Composure. That's the only way to win on the road. When a team makes a run, you need to regroup, focus, lock down on defense, and answer on offense. Losing composure is how you turn the ball over...I hope the girls take something away from this and win the next game.

TO is hard to change. Hopefully the coaches can solve that problem, maybe instill confidence, even late in the season. The men had some TO problems as well, but have won some in spite of it. Hang in there!

Very hard to change a team in mid-season, unless they are young. Unfortunately Coach Bonnie has had this bunch way to long and they only keep doing the same stupid things (except for McCray).Need a fresh start. Keep McCray and maybe Boogard and kick everyone else off the team. They are not Big XII players and never will be.

flahawk, she cant help it if her team has been plauged by injuries. once angel goodrich comes back next season and with the 5 new freshmen coming we are going to be pretty good. you cant just kick them off cause then we really would be terrible. you cant play basketball with only 2 people

"Need a fresh start. Keep McCray and maybe Boogard and kick everyone else off the team. Morris is their best on ball defender and second leading scorer. She brings intensity to the floor at all times and I think it's easy to see how much they missed her while she was out. Boogard is good offensively at times, but needs to play stronger. When she is pressured before she catches it she tends to fumble the intro pass away. If Jacobs could slow down just a little and take her time with the ball, she could do some damage. Nicolette Smith also plays with intensity and if they ran a few plays to get her open shots instead of isolating McCray every possession then she might be able to relieve some pressure from McCray and add some much needed offense from another source. This could be a completely different team next year with Goodrich and a change in coaching philosophy. Goodrich sees the floor better than anyone currently on the roster and will bring a swagger that only McCray seems to have this year.

"McCray also hit a trio of three-pointers, and was the only Jayhawk to register an attempt from beyond the arc (3-of-6)."It's a completely different team now. Non-conference play they where making a lot of attempts from beyond the arc, (Jason's deli... I only have one ticket cause of that freakin' promo...) Conference play they seemed to have gotten away from that.I don't know why that is, but I would like to see them get back to launching it from long range in order to extend the defense.

Excuses, excuses; promises, promises. Does anyone tire of this, plus the constant losing, under Bonnie's "leadership" over the past 5 years? Far too many in JayhawkNation seem fine with making lame excuses for this dismal program. Self nor Mangino would ever get away with such poor performance and keep their job. Bonnie should be held accountable - it's far past her time to go.

Now that I have sometime I shall add to the above...The only program playing for the conference title (out of the main three) year after year is the Men's Basketball program. The Football program is improving but isn't there yet. Before the last two seasons the Football program wasn't even on the map.Mangino (7th Year Head Coach) was given all the time and support he needed to get the program to it's current condition. There is no reason why Henrickson (5th Year Head Coach) should be treated any differently. Based on everything I've seen she's moving the program in the right direction at about the same speed as Mangino. Maybe faster if not for the injuries this season...
