Overland Park — Former Kansas University golfer Chris Thompson is in a tie for 31st place entering the final round of the Christmas In October Nationwide golf tournament at Nicklaus Golf Club at LionGate.
Thompson (208 strokes) fired a 3-under-par 68 Saturday to go with his previous rounds of 72 and 68. Michael Sim is the leader at 197 strokes.
