That is CRAZY! 41 feet? Way to go Andrea!

I went to the Olympic Training center in Colorado Springs, and there you can walk the length of Bob Beamon's 1968 world record long jump of 29.2 ft. It's staggering. It looks absolutely impossible.

I recommend anybody who reads this to go out and mark off 41 feet in the back yard. If your yard is big enough. Or on the sidewalk, or anywhere you can. Then see how close you can come to getting there in 3 jumps.

For the heck of it, also mark off the 29 feet and see how close you can get in one jump. It's just funny when you see how far it really is.

So congratulations Andrea. That is awesome. You're gonna love Lawrence.
