Bryan, Texas Zach Pederson shot a 153 to place in a tie for 49th to pace Kansas University’s men’s golf team to a 12th-place finish Sunday at the regular-season-ending Aggie Invitational.
Pederson shot a final-round 80.
KU’s Bryan Hackenberg carded the Jayhawks low round of the day with a 79 and finished tied for 58th place.
Senior Andrew Storm and sophomore Nate Barbee both finished the event with 157 strokes and tied for 64th place.
Senior Walt Koelbel and sophomore Bobby Knowles both finished the event tied for 71st place.
Oklahoma State managed to hold off host Texas A&M by three strokes to win the team title with 714 strokes. Rickie Fowler won medalist honors with 138 strokes over the two round event.
KU will compete April 27-29 at the Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes Golf Club in Hutchinson.
