Five of the eight Kansas University tennis players competing at the Jayhawk Invitational went undefeated through the first day of the tournament Friday.
Seniors Yuliana Svistun and Edina Horvath each won two singles matches and one doubles match.
Horvath's doubles partner, junior Kuni Dorn, also won her two singles matches. Svistun's partner, freshman Kate Morozova, went 1-1 on the day.
Sophomore Maria Martinez and freshman Erin Wilbert, KU's third doubles tandem, also won their doubles match and two singles matches apiece. The KU doubles pair of freshman Allie Dzuba and sophomore Kate Goff won their match.
