KU-ISU to be at 11:30 a.m., televised by Versus

The Big 12 Conference announced Monday that the Kansas University-Iowa State University football game will be at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 4, and televised by the Versus Network.

Versus is available on Sunflower Broadband Channels 38 and 238 in the Lawrence area.

let's get to 1-0...and then we might get rolling.Expectations have gone hog wild, and we have some dour moods and all...since we're not beating everyone 49-0 and we've lost a game. just focus on winning football games week to week...and everything will take care of itself. I'm quite surprised this game is on TV....KU is becoming quite desirable for the broadcasters.

mvjayhawk.....Along the lines of thinking positively: I was looking back to the weekly AP/Coaches Polls from last year for some perspective. KU wasn't even ranked in the Top 25 until the 6th or 7th week of the season last year! This year, we have a loss and we are STILL rated #18 in the country.Regardless of the tough loss at USF, this program is growing and improving every week. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the stadium filled Saturday night for a game against Sam Houston freaking State! I know it was Band Day and blah, blah, blah. But how many times in the past 20 years has the game on Band Day been sold out, regardless of the quality of the opponent?You know how some teams have a tradition of touching a rock or a horseshoe when they leave their locker to enter the field? I think we should have a log with a saw embedded in it made of brass and put in the path the players take from their locker room. Reminder: Keep sawin'!

KUFan,it's in the 600s. you should get it with one of the total choice packages but you shouldn't need the sports package.

chicagoeddie, I will be in Chicago that weekend. Good to hear the game will be televised there. Lets just hope my Lithuanian friend won't object to me watching a football game for awhile instead of focusing all of my attention on her.
