KU pass defense was just like 2-3 years ago. Hundred yards a quarter ad maybemore in the 4th quarter. We were lucky that the D stiffened a bit in the 4th quarter last night.Coach Bowen looks like he is over his head. The players are their, although they have absolutely no team chemistry. Just 11 individuals frailling away.KU will be hard presed to go 7-5 without much better D!

Agree. Corners are way to far off the wideouts and the LBs are too deep. We are essentially playing a prevent defense the whole game. Merely adequate passers are going to pick us apart.

Yeah. And retooling the defensive scheme probably won't work. Get a qualified coordinator and let him start over -- fast! If necessary, hire him as a consultant -- then give him the official title a year later.
