Columbia, Mo. — Kansas University men's and women's cross country teams each placed second behind Missouri on Saturday at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge at Gustin Golf Course.

KU's Lauren Bonds won her second straight race. She was the only runner to break the 19-minute mark in the 5K (18:59.29).
