Kansas University's Danielle Hermann and Erin Mertz each claimed two victories on the night, but the Jayhawks suffered a 133-106 loss to ninth-ranked Texas A&M in a Big 12 swimming and diving dual Thursday at Robinson Natatorium.
Hermann won the 200-yard individual medley and the 200 breaststroke.
Metz won the one- and three-meter dive titles.
Also for KU, Maria Mayrovich was second in the 50 free and the 100 free, and Ashley Leidigh was second in the 200 fly.

Great effort by KU Swim team. aTm is a strong perofrmer. UT and aTm are the class of the Big XII and Ku is closing in on them.The program has improved a lot in the last 2-3 years.
