Bill Self, head coach of Kansas men's basketball, will sign his new book, "Bill Self: At Home in the Phog," from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday at the KU Bookstores, level two of the Kansas Union. The event is free and open to the public.
With the help of author John Rohde, Self and those who know him best offer an inside look at his journey into becoming one of the game's most respected and most sought-after coaches. Self tells how he is living the dream-not only is he a head coach, he was also selected to be the steward of what James Naismith and Phog Allen created for Kansas basketball. The book captures the excitement of reaching the pinnacle -leading the Jayhawks to a national title. Self shares minute-by-minute details of the contest that sent KU to the national title game and offers insight into one of the greatest national championship comebacks ever.
The autobiography, "Bill Self: At Home in the Phog," is available for purchase at the KU Bookstores and through Self's foundation's Web site, www.assistyouth.org. Proceeds from the book's sales will benefit the Assists Foundation.

Robish only played 8 NBA seasons--77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83 and 84. The rest were ABA--prior to him coming over with the Pacers.Mokeski played 12 seasons.Vaughn is starting his 12th season. Pollard and Ostertag played 11--maybe more for Pollard, if he catches on somewhere.

jaybate,Raef LaFrentz is entering his 11th year. Darnell Valentine played 9 years. Walt Wesley played 10. Those are the only others I could find with more than 5 years. If the records indicated a skipped year (or at least one without stats), I didn't count it. The records I looked through didn't seem to be 100% accurate, but this is what I found!

LaFrentz hasn't done squat while in the league other than become a multi-millionaire.
