Minneapolis Minnesota Vikings cornerback and former Kansas University player Charles Gordon was carted off the field in the second quarter against Green Bay after a gruesome ankle injury that occurred on a punt return.
Gordon fielded the punt inside the Vikings 10, headed upfield and was immediately met by two Packers. As he planted his left leg to change direction, one of the Packers rolled up on the leg, and the ankle gave way. He lay motionless on the turf while athletic trainer Eric Sugarman rushed out to see him.

must have been a realy bad ankle injury if he was motionless, because normally after an ankle injury people roll around in pain.
