San Antonio Missouri's Alysha Bonnick's penalty kick eliminated Kansas University on Friday night in the semifinal round of the Big 12 soccer championship at Blossom Complex.
The two teams played to a 1-1 tie in regulation.
With the penalty kick shootout tied at 3-3, Bonnick's shot to the far side of the net lifted the Tigers to the Big 12 Championship finals where they will meet Colorado today.
KU's Monica Dolinski scored in the sixth minute. Her 27th point is the most by a KU player since Caroline Smith's 32 in 2004.
Missouri outshot KU, 25-8, and had a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks. Dolinsky had four shots for KU (12-7-2). The Jayhawks hope to be awarded an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament on Monday night.
