Rachel Zabriskie allowed just three hits over the full seven innings to lead Iowa State to a 2-1 Big 12 Conference softball victory over Kansas University on Saturday at Arrocha Ballpark.
Zabriskie (14-12) outdueled KU's Val George (18-10), who also threw a complete game.
George scattered eight hits and struck out seven. Zabriskie struck out four.
Kansas (36-18 overall, 6-11 Big 12) and ISU (28-27, 4-13) will conclude their series with a single game at noon today.
