Ditto garybedore....he shows up when it counts. 20 and 10 in the national championship game. You cannot ask for more.

Man, how many guards are we going to go after?!?! Almost ridiculous.

This is what being a National Champion is all about. My question is where are all the big men? With Coach Manning's teaching, how long are we going to have the next lottery pick Cole Aldrich "Manning" the paint? Man, losing Sasha & Darnell is going to hurt. I said Darnell, not once in a while show up Darrell!

You said: " I said Darnell, not once in a while show up Darrell!"--Wow tough crowd. DA will forever be known nationally as "20 and 10," that's the points and boards he got in the title game.

He showed up enough, bro. We won it all. Thanks to all of the players on the best team in the country. Even 'ol "Show up Sometimes/20 & 10 in the big game" D. Arthur.I agree with the comment on the Coach Self playing a PS3 game. My Kansas squad on NCAA 2K8 for XBOX 360 is starting to look more and more like the future KU teams in real life, it seems.

OK, Maybe a dozen games out of 40. Were not going to miss him. It's like Julian Wright, superstar then unseen. Believe me I'm not dissing him. I appreciate him for having a GAME and staying out of FOUL TROUBLE in our Championship win. But come on, he needs to come back and get consistent. He's a boy compared to Sasha and Darnell. By the way, Mario will be back. I feel it in my soul!!!!!! No comments about some big men?

You said: But come on, he needs to come back and get consistent. He's a boy compared to Sasha and Darnell. By the way, Mario will be back.Guys n gals, both players declared for the NBA for a reason. They want to turn pro and believe they are ready to turn pro. Assume they will be gone.

Why do we wish Mario and Darrell would come back? It's almost close to being a hater, wishing they'd fail. It's selfish. Neither one NEEDS to come back. I'm excited to see them in the NBA. I hope both stay in the draft and get selected as high as possible. I'd be extremely happy for them. I'd root for them every time their games are shown, just like I do Julian Wright, Nick Collison, Paul Pierce, Jacque Vaughn, Kirk Hinrich and Drew Gooden. Its a great thing for the program. KU will be fine.
