East Lansing, Mich. — The Kansas University women's basketball team (17-16) lost, 58-54, to Michigan State (21-13), on Thursday from the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich.
The loss knocked KU out of the WNIT.
KU sophomore forward Danielle McCray led all scores with 18 points.
