Norman, Okla. — After losing a 3-2 decision on a walk-off single in Friday's conference opener against 11th-ranked Oklahoma, the Kansas University softball team fell, 8-0 in six innings on Saturday.

OU's Susan Ogden once again had the game-ending hit, a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth.

Kansas falls to 23-8 overall and 0-2 in Big 12 play. OU improves to 27-8 and 2-0.

The Jayhawks struggled to get their offense going, connecting for just four hits compared with 11 for the Sooners.

KU returns home Wednesday for a doubleheader with Missouri State.
