Columbus, Ohio Kansas junior Danielle Herrmann improved her KU all-time 100-yard breaststroke mark in NCAA Swimming and Diving action Friday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the Ohio State University campus.
Originally seeded 33rd, Herrmann swam to a 22nd-place finish, clocking in at 1:02.01, topping her previous record of 1:02.13, set at the 2008 Big 12 Championship meet.
Herrmann's teammate, Maria Mayrovich, will join her in Columbus for today's Ohio State Longcourse meet.
