Austin, Texas — Kansas University's swimming and diving team lost a back-and-forth battle with Missouri for third place Saturday at the Big 12 championships and finished fourth.

KU diving coach Eric Elliott was named Big 12 diving coach of the meet.

"We are very happy to have accomplished one of our team goals, score over 500 points," KU head coach Clark Campbell said.
