Behind 15 points and 12 rebounds from sophomore forward Danielle McCray, the Kansas University women's basketball team broke into the Big 12 win column Saturday afternoon in Allen Fieldhouse, knocking off Missouri 66-60.
McCray, plagued by foul trouble and offensive inconsistency through three conference losses, broke out on both ends of the floor, also registering five steals in the victory. Fellow forward Krysten Boogaard, who suffered woes similar to McCray's over the past couple of weeks, led the Jayhawks with 17 points on an efficient 6-of-7 shooting performance.
KU (12-5 overall, 1-3 Big 12) tries to make it two league wins in a row Tuesday night, traveling to Boulder to square off with Colorado.
