KU women take on Texas Tech tonight
Two teams, two different directions: hopefully that's good news for the Kansas women's basketball team tonight.
Lubbock, Texas — Kansas University's women's basketball team forced 17 turnovers and led Texas Tech by 12 points at halftime of Wednesday's Big 12 battle at United Spirit Arena.
Unfortunately for the Jayhawks, games last 40 minutes. Tech outscored KU, 44-28, the final half en route to a 65-61 victory before 9,688 happy Red Raider fans.
Krysten Boogaard had 17 points and eight rebounds for KU (15-10, 4-8).
