KU athletic director's new chief of staff will make $90,000

Nicole Corcoran, the longtime Gov. Kathleen Sebelius spokeswoman who is leaving to be chief of staff for Kansas University Athletic Director Lew Perkins, will make $90,000 per year at her new job.

That’s according to Jim Marchiony, associate athletic director at KU.

Corcoran is making $89,175 as a state employee, according to the Kansas Department of Administration. She will start at Kansas Athletics on Feb. 2.
