Stillwater, Okla. — William Cole, a converted cornerback who had become a prospect to start at wide receiver for Oklahoma State, will miss this season because of a knee injury. Cowboys coach Mike Gundy said Friday that Cole was hurt during a non-contact drill in practice Wednesday.
