Des Moines, Iowa — Kansas University's Nickesha Anderson, Ashley Brown, Victoria Howard and Crystal Manning placed second in the 800 relay at Friday's Drake Relays.

The team was timed in 1:36.59, second fastest mark in school history.

They also combined to qualify for the 400 relay finals in 45.19.

Advancing to today's finals were Brown and Anderson in the 100 hurdles and Julius Jiles in the 110 hurdles.
