Congrats Billy! One of my favorite KU players of all time. Played against him at Robinson and he lit me up like a Christmas tree.

It's always great to see KU represented with class, and BT has always been a great representative of KU. Keep up the good fight, BT, and hopefully you'll get another shot at the NBA next year.

Why does the LJW use the term 'ex-Jayhawk'? Isn't it once a Jayhawk, always a Jayhawk... unless you declare your allegiances to another university? I still think of Gale Sayers, JoJo White, Billy Thomas and so many others as still Jayhawks.
I graduated in 1990, and I'm still a Jayhawk, and will never be an 'ex'.
So LJW... why do you call Billy an 'ex'??
By the way, I loved when Billy would shoot those three pointers during his playing days!!

Did you love it when he shot 2-15 vs. Rhode Island? He was a pretty good shooter just unfortunate the way it ended.

Nope, didn't enjoy that... nor did I enjoy it when we shot 12-30 in the free throw department against Syracuse in a championship game not so long ago.
Still love Billy... still love 'da Jayhawks.
