Falcon Heights, Minn. Kansas University's men's cross country team placed 13th of 23 teams Saturday at the Roy Griak Invitational at the Les Bolstad Golf Course. The Jayhawk women placed 16th out of 26 teams.
The men were led by Colby Wissel, who placed seventh in 24:42. Paul Hefferon was 18th in the 8K race in 24:55.
The women's team was led by sophomore Lauren Bonds, who covered the 6K course in a personal-best time of 22:47 while placing 57th.
