KU vs. K-State set for 11 a.m. on FSN

The Oct. 6 Big 12 Conference opener between Kansas University and Kansas State will kick off at 11 a.m. and be televised on Fox Sports Net (Sunflower Broadband Channel 36).

It will be the first televised game this season for the 4-0 Jayhawks, whose 53.5 points per game currently ranks third in FBS.

Kansas State, 2-1, takes on Texas next Saturday on the road before the Sunflower Showdown. In a similar situation a year ago, KU defeated K-State 39-20 on Homecoming at Memorial Stadium.

Three other games in the conference will be televised on Oct. 6. They are: Oklahoma vs. Texas (ABC, 2:30 p.m.), Oklahoma State vs. Texas A&M (FSN, 6 or 6:30 p.m.) and Nebraska vs. Missouri (ESPN, 8:15 p.m.).
