Columbia, Mo. Kansas University's volleyball team edged rival Missouri in a five-game thriller on Wednesday night.
The Jayhawks prevailed 30-23, 26-30, 20-30, 30-28, 15-7, to claim their first league victory since last Oct. 14.
It snapped a 12-match conference losing streak and marked KU's first road win since Nov. 9, 2005.
KU improved to 8-5 overall and 1-2 in the Big 12.

Great effort by the Woman's team. It has been a long dry spell and maybe they can start to turn the seaon around!

Glad to hear it - Mizzou's a good team and to go into Columbia and beat them is great. KU volleyball always has been right on the cusp of being really good and I would love to see them get there.
