Angel Goodrich, a 5-foot-5 senior point guard from Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah, Okla., is on Kansas University's campus this weekend for an official recruiting visit.

Goodrich, whose team has won three straight Class 3A Oklahoma state championships, averaged 17.9 points, 7.5 assists and 6.4 rebounds last season, earning Oklahoma's Gatorade Player of the Year honors.

She also was named the Tulsa World's Player of the Year and to the Daily Oklahoman's Super Five team.

Goodrich, who is also considering Tulsa and Arkansas, is considered by some to be the best point guard to play in the state of Oklahoma. She's ranked No. 48 prospect in the country by hoopgurlz.com.
