Leikness, I am totally with you man, especially because I'm the type of guy that, even when i promise myself I'll go home early, stays at the bar till close and most of the time does after hours . I usually have a bloody to start off before my first beer after what seems like a nap following friday night, and if you're not into the whole tomato juice thing, mimosas are a great pre-beer starter for the early kicks.

Oh well, what are you gonna do...I'd much rather the 'hawks be on TV and have to choke down a brew at the crack of dawn than be 0-7 and have all day to 'gate.

bmc - good call. I'm really not at cham-Pag Na (see - "The Continental") kind a guy though. Maybe I'll start w/a little skey.

And Az - I think I like the red jersey idea, but I'm gonna need to sleep on it. How awesome would it be to hear the NU section yelling go big red when KU has red jerseys on.

enjoyed the continental reference leikness, for my $ it doesn't get any better than Walken. that fatboy slim video will live in infamy! i also like the call on the 'skey, can't say I haven't started a gameday or two with it before!

No, let's NOT wear crimson red against Nebraska. We need to be distinct from them for the sake of the viewing audience. Wear KU Blue and nothing else.

I'll be taking some friends to the game. One of them is a die-hard NU fan. He'll wish he'd stayed in bed by the time this is over.

I've never been particularly fond of the red jerseys, as it always seems like it's not really KU. But there's a part of me that would LOVE to see them wear red against NU -- just to shove their faces in it. On the other hand, that could piss NU off and give them a little extra motivation.

Everything points to this being the year that KU will truly STOMP Nebraska (even more than the 40-15 beat-down a couple of years ago). And that's exactly what scares me. With all of the upsets going on this year, I take nothing for granted. Obviously KU has to get through a very tough game this week first, but after that I sure hope they stay focused on the Huskers and don't assume it will be an easy one because they'll be back home after two tough road games (and with another tough one coming up).
