Jayhawks swept by top-ranked Huskers

— No. 1-ranked Nebraska swept Kansas University's volleyball team, 30-16, 30-25, 30-26, on Saturday at Devaney Center.

KU freshman Jenna Kaiser had 10 kills, Baldwin High graduate Emily Brown added nine, and freshman outside hitter Karina Garlington and Flavio Lino added eight apiece for the Jayhawks.

Lino was 8-for-12 hitting with two errors, while Garlington had 13 digs and Melissa Manda 11 digs.

Nebraska improved to 18-0 overall and 11-0 in the Big 12; KU fell to 10-11, 3-8.

The Jayhawks will travel to Texas A&M on Wednesday.
