Kansas volleyball falls to Bears

Hawks hoping to beat Baylor

The Kansas volleyball team hits the road tonight in need of a victory. The Hawks lost to the Bears at Baylor earlier this month.

— It took four games, but Baylor claimed its fifth straight Big 12 volleyball victory, a 30-19, 20-30, 30-24, 30-22 victory Wednesday night over Kansas University.

KU's Emily Brown recorded her third straight triple-double - 13 kills, 12 digs, team-high 25 assists, and two other Jayhawks recorded double-digit kills. Freshman Jenena Kaiser led KU with a career-best .538 hitting percentage on 16 kills, and junior Natalie Uhart added 11 kills as KU fell to 10-14 overall, 3-11 Big 12. Baylor improved to 14-10, 6-7.

KU will play host to Oklahoma on Saturday. Match time is 7 p.m. at Horejsi Center.
