San Jose, Calif. — Moments after outlasting Southern Illinois to reach the Elite Eight in this year's NCAA Tournament, Kansas basketball players settled into their folding chairs in the locker room to answer questions about the Salukis' defense, Brandon Rush's efficient sharpshooting and Rodrick Stewart's inspired play.

Then they told us what they'd be doing on the off day, the one before taking on UCLA in the regional finals Saturday.
