Austin, Texas The Kansas University women's golf team improved its position by two spots Saturday, climbing to 11th place after the second round of the Betsy Rawls Invitational.
The Jayhawks shot a 309 and now have a two-day total of 632. Host Texas leads the team competition at 607.
KU senior Amanda Costner surged up the leaderboard into a tie for 16th place after shooting a 2-over 74 in the second round. She has a two-day total of 153.
Today's final round will begin with a shotgun start at 9:15 a.m.
